Answer: Kritter’s Crumble is made from coconut husk- the outer layer of a coconut. It is a natural and renewable resource, grown in plantations in Malaysia. There are no additives to the product, making it completely free of any chemicals and toxins.
Answer: The product has a natural feel, which is what animals love about it. The softness of coconut husk makes it easy for them to run on it, sit and jump on it, or even burrow through the layers. Kritter’s Crumble has also been trialled by animal industry experts, who gave the product brilliant reviews. For more information go to testimonials on this website.
Answer: Kritter’s Crumble is made from all natural fibre. This fibre doesn’t swell up when in contact with moisture unlike other materials, and is therefore safe for ingestion. I your animal happens to eat any with its food, it will be passed out as droppings.
Answer: The moisture content is optimal for fitting more volume of the product in a Smartbag, so you get more out of one bag. The product dries over time when spread out at the bottom of the enclosure, or the process can be sped up by flicking on the heating lights directly onto the bedding. Remember you can dry and wet Kritter’s Crumble according to your own pet’s needs, and can be re-wet even after it fully dries out.
Answer: You can spread it out in your garden, or spread on the lawn as top soil to condition the soil of your garden and watch your plants flourish and grow in a better fed garden. You can also add the used Kritter’s Crumble to your compost bin, to improve the compost. If you don’t have a garden or a compost bin, place Kritter’s Crumble in your green waste bin or in a local government rubbish removal bin.
Answer: Spot clean regularly. It is really up to individual users when to decide to replace the whole bedding. Check the facts sheet section for your particular animal to find out how often.
